Libera Nos
The demon-like figures on this tapestrie looking at each other with great suspicion. So looks, like I feel, at this time the people of the world to another.
Let's hope the little Saint is able to overcome the evil in the world.
Therefore the petition: sed libera nos amalis. Diliver us from evil.

These four tapestries are inspired by Ethiopian motifs

Each image shows Saints casting out demons. Nowhere we are looked directly in the eye, by Saints nor demon. A human being cannot bear direct eye-contact with either one of them. Except for the double-headed demon in the middle, double-headed means: he already lost half of its power…
